Originally, I am from the beautiful county of Somerset, I now live in the equally beautiful county of Dorset and am continually surprised by the beauties it can reveal!

I share my dream thatched cottage with my husband, cats and hens and 1 of our 3 sons , which I love despite always needing work doing on it!

I have loved photography from an early age and remember the excitement of being allowed to borrow my older sisters Box Brownie, for my first ever camp away from home, then in later years my first digital camera, a very early Fujifilm Finepix S3000. Today I have my pride and joy, a Full frame Canon 5D.

I love to travel and explore both rural countryside and coastlines and the inner city too, but the coastline is by far my favourite place to visit.

I love light and colours and the beautiful effects they can have on everyday things,especially flowers & food.

Recently I have started photography at various events; OCR (Obstacle course racing),Music festivals, Proms and Vehicle rallies and love the challenge and variety this brings to my portfolio.

​

I am largely self taught, but have recently completed an online diploma course with The Photography Institute to help me explore the finer technical details that today's modern digital cameras offer us. I am constantly learning and trying new ideas and also love the post editing software that is available.
